Dear brothers, during my consecration Grand Commander of 'Orient De Canaan' I felt that any one who would have this privilege must abondon his selfishness and think only of the freemasonry's holy message. This holy message which gathered some of the famous men in the world like George Washington, Napoleon Bonaparte, Abdel Kader Al Jazaeri, the King Hussein, and King Hassan the sexond king of Morocco. Those greats who sacrified their lives for this institution were the ideals and the example. From them we've learned how to build on a strong base and not on the ruins of others. To achieve this goal we must believe in three symbols, the wisdom ,the power and the beauty. Working by these three symbols the Freemasonary can reach the position it seek.

In addition to the previous symbols, we must also remember the Freedom, Brotherhood and the Equality. As Freemasons our mission is to help our community to understand the spirit behind these symbols and how to deal with them.

Approaching the third Millennium lets forget all our hates, Fanaticism and our ancor. Let each one of us light a condel because we are the sons of God and light. My final word to all Supreme Coucils and Grand lodges in Lebanon is to combine our forces and to join hand by hand so we can give back to the Lebanese Freenasonary its glory and power.

Finally we should always remember that the Freemason is the brother of any other freemason no matter where he lives or whom he is.
